The Happy Place was conceived as an easy-to-ride, fun-frothing, playful park board for all riders. Its easy riding medium flex stems from a bi-axial fiberglass layup that’s enhanced by Sweet Spots carbon fibre stringers laid from the bindings to the contact points to enhance edge control and amplify ollies.
The twin tip shape and progressive sidecut ensure consistent drive for both regular and switch riding, while the Camrock profile offers stability with positive camber between the feet and rocker rise in the tips for flexibility and reduced edge catch. The core, made from poplar wood with beech hardwood stringers along the inserts, enhances binding power transfer, and spruce strips increase control and maximize pop. FEATURES:
- Carbonbon: pure carbon fibre slabs in a cross pattern under the inserts between the base and the core to enhance responsiveness, pop, torsional stiffness, and amplify foot movement
- Bi-ax fiberglass: biax fiberglass is a two-way weave with strands running every 90 degrees. It’s more forgiving, easier to flex, and versatile for all terrain types
- Pop woodcore: premium strips of poplar for a lightweight and smooth flex with added beech hardwood stringers tip to tail through the inserts for power transfer and durability
- Sintered base 7500: fast, durable base that requires less waxing, made from the best possible materials
- Belt finish: base optimized with a belt finish before being fully waxed
- Progressive sidecut: design blends many radii and smooth contact points for smooth turn initiation, edge-to-edge transition, and edge hold. Matches the sidecut to the board’s specific camber profile
- Impact dampening: vibration dampening rubber between the steel edge and sidewall to absorb impacts slightly and prevent delamination
- Steel edges: edges with 35% more steel content than average for increased strength and durability
- Factory waxed: boards are factory waxed with one ball jay wax and ready to shred immediately
- Tip protectors: thin, light, and strong aluminum protectors that cap the base and edge at the tip and tail to protect from impacts
- Kick stand: original identity shape saves material and weight, allowing the board to stand up without tipping over
